I have been a professional carpenter since 1999. We moved into a new (new to us, anyway) house about 10 years ago and I thought I would make a few cabinets for myself to put in the garage. They were quite simple, but very high quality compared to what I could get at the local stores. We continued to remodel the house over the next few years, doing a room or 2 a year, and each time I opted to make the cabinets, woodwork and furniture in lieu of purchasing products which I found to be inferior. I built a large double sink vanity for our master bathroom, and decided to go all out and made all the cabinets for the kitchen! Soon afterward people started asking me to make them items they couldn't find in stores. I started a side business in 2013 specializing in custom cabinets and furniture, but being it is a side business I'm not always busy with it nor am I willing to take on large, drawn out projects. In slower times I enjoy making shelves, mirrors, picture frames, etc. This is how I got started selling nationally! While I still do make cabinets and furniture once in a while, I enjoy making smaller custom items for people all over the world! I've sent my items to over 15 countries across North America and Europe.
